KRKN Ultra
Take the
light.
Program your lighting world and play it live. From your kit, or from the booth.
The full power of the KRKN hardware.
Ultra comes after Core: the first campaign opens with Core. To play Ultra sooner, there's the Abyss programme.
Discover the Abyss programmeProgram. Connect. Play.
A direct tool to build your light and play it in real conditions.
-
Program
Build your light in layers, arrange them into scenes, and fire them live.
-
Connect
DMX, MIDI, OSC: Ultra talks to your rig and slots into the booth.
-
Drive
Live, you stay in control: from your kit, or from the booth.
-
Preview
Preview your stage before the show and fine-tune every effect.
One layer, piece by piece.
Pick the drums that trigger it and the strips that light up, then the colour, shape, envelope and modulation. That's how a layer comes together in Ultra, and your kit answers.
The light follows your playing.
Turn on tempo following in Ultra One: it reads your playing on the kick and snare and locks effects to your hits. You speed up, the stage keeps up.
All the KRKN power.
in developmentThe Ultra System carries the full compute and output power of the KRKN hardware: the Core app and Ultra software run without limits. The lighter Core gives you a free preview of Ultra.
“In development” badge: still being worked on, not yet in its final form.
The show runs without your computer.
in developmentYou program your lighting plan in KRKN Ultra One, on your computer, and send it to the Ultra System. During the show, the unit plays on its own: it reads your triggers and its MIDI input, and fires the presets stored in its memory on your strips and its DMX output. If the computer drops out, the light keeps going.
What needs the computer stays in Ultra One: sending every hit back to your booth over MIDI or OSC, sending MIDI clock, locking your cues to timecode, following your console over sACN.
Your lighting plan stays yours.
